SOL3 MIO's "Opera Under the Stars" concert to raise funds 
for the building of the Catholic Church's new church in Mulivai. 

The concert was held at the St Therese Retreat in Leauva'a 
on Sunday the 20th of October.

Christchurch Earthquake Memorial Today

On this day the magnitude 6.3 earthquake struck at 12.51pm on February 22, 2011, that demolished Christchurch and took the lives of 185 people started and continued for months in a series of smaller but equally as destructive quakes followed.

Services have begun at Christchurch's Civic Memorial Service is set to begin at the Botanic Gardens Archery Lawn at 12pm.

The service, to commemorate the fourth anniversary of the disaster, is opened with a Mihi Whakatau officiated by Ngai Tuahuriri's Charles Crofts, and a rendition of New Zealand's national athemn led by the Woolston Brass Band.

People are gathered at Christchurch's Botanic Gardens

At 12.51 a minutes silence will be held
